Included with the album is a "virtual booklet" similar to the booklet insert that comes with most CDs. There is also printable album/CD/traycard art in case you want to actually make your own CD.

Although Witch-Hazel is available for a fairly cheap $5, there is an option to pay more if you wish. There is also a very good reason to do so. All proceeds from this album will be going to Child's Play Charity, a fantastic organization that organizes toy drives for children's hospitals. Image And Nation will get NO PROFIT from this album. There is a Paypal transaction fee, and Bandcamp takes a small cut, but every penny after that will go to buying toys for sick children. If that isn't a good reason to donate more than the minimum, what could be?

Witch-Hazel is available in a wide variety of audio formats including MP3, FLAC, Apple lossless, etc.
    Purchasable with gift card

      $5 USD  or more

Warm smokey air wavers in the tent The stockpot on the spittle boils Escape the heat, escape the smell Cold serenity lies out in the snow It's near the end as we wait Soon the streams will break free Juicy sap will return to leaves As the land begins to thaw I watch the moon, it watches all creatures who slumber The creatures who wait conserving life Glisten, glisten on the snow Hunger moon, glisten Silent, silent is the wood The bone moon is watching The bears and I dream at night of the antelope and deer that we will feast upon at the first Milk moon The fires will be for food and joy not to fight off bitter frosts Our men and women shall dance with shining eyes and bellies full I watch the moon, it watches all creatures who slumber The creatures who wait conserving life Glisten, glisten on the snow Hunger moon, glisten Silent, silent is the wood The bone moon is watching We will remember the lean time and rejoice in the fat Winter Moon reminds us give thanks for summer’s bounty

Impermanence is Perfection My flesh knees in the deep, cold snow The snow and I impermanent Recycled here and evermore a daydream that is without end The binding contract has been signed Embrace the struggle and the strife Don't press against these factions of reality Expose the darkness and the light the white of snow against the night return again down to your knees Attention as bare as the trees Experience the change, the release Stop grasping at what you wish were true Cease to hope for what could have been a reality Employ yourself in the here and now In the present, the moment is all we have Surrender to imperfect permanence Expose the darkness and the light the white of snow against the night return again down to your knees attention as bare as the trees Oh slave to your ears, freedom appears Oh slave to your eyes, freedom arrives Oh slave to your tongue, freedom is won Oh slave to you our touch, slave to your touch, slave to your touch... Expose the darkness and the light the white of snow against the night return again down to your knees attention as bare as the trees Learn to accept your thoughts and deeds cast off the shackles of your Self Make peace with struggle and with strife BE, and then know of this release Nothing lasts forever

Snow Day 05:28
Jump out of bed Down stairs you fly No time to eat Toast will be fine Lace your boots Slip on your gloves Fresh snow outside It’s time for fun Call your mates Pick a side Build a fort Walls so high It’s a snowball free for all Everybody join in the fight Oh the joy, the delight we take in this gift of white A force that can destroy also purifies and makes anew interrupts our "lives" and reminds us of the truth Merrily sing Merrily sing Sing out Sing loud Merrily sing Destruction leads to creation Laughter ring out in the cold, crisp, clear air We all laugh, all together The laughter of the weather Young and old laugh in the cold Juke to right Fake to the left Take the hit Your face a mess None are safe But that’s alright, we join the fight Too cold to strip Too hot to care Coat thrown down I hit the ground Arms out wide Legs all splayed My messy angel Frosty display Fingers numb Just for now Game is done Stomachs growl Head to the house friend in tow Here for food to fight the cold of snow Oh the joy, the delight we take in this gift of white makes us slow down makes us stop and take a look around Connecting, receiving all the good in winter life Merrily sing Merrily sing Sing out Sing loud Merrily sing Destruction leads to creation Laughter ring out in the cold, crisp, clear air we all laugh all together the laughter of the weather Dad's at home made some soup Smell of coffee hot chocolate too Jackets lay by warming flame Hope they'll dry just in time to go out again Feeling full Feeling fine Head back into the storm outside Jackets dry Fingers cold Armed with the snow Awaiting our foes They return ready again Rush forward to join in the din We laugh and play through the day only stopping when the dark makes us come in Troupe on back Warmth of home Boots are off Soaked to the bone Leave it all by the door We aren't going out today anymore Set a place Change your clothes Smiling faces Flushed like rose Dinner warm a filling meal We laugh and talk of our day and the joys we feel Around the fire we sit and sing telling jokes remembering songs of yule stories of old Dying flames and blankets keeping back the cold Dad dozes back Dog's asleep Read your book put up your feet Your fight it your eyes slip closed Maybe tomorrow we’ll have even more snow

Grey Echoes 06:20
cloudy haze looking backwards again sitting at the beach stare at waves again it’s 1am out for a walk again laughter and dry champagne footsteps in the rain the rain falls again it’s not the same the winds pick up again it’s not the same another grey winter in the golden state and i’m looking back again it’s not the same somewhere snowballs are flying through the air somewhere between the trees laughter is shared somewhere the snow falls down on those without a care i can’t escape my memories and i wish that i was there the rain falls again it’s not the same the winds pick up again it’s not the same another grey winter in the golden state and i’m looking back again it’s not the same i walk down the pier lost in thought again there’s no rain today but the wind never ends blue grey twilight another sleepless night alone on this bench it’s not the same
